The roof decides how much light comes in and how your veranda feels. You choose the material for the roof and for the gable infill, the triangular panel beside the roof.

General rules of thumb: what suits best depends on the panels you choose, the position of your garden and the rest of your design. Sun shading or tinted glass can limit heat build-up.
